Video Production / Animation
Traka wanted to bring a familiar problem to life in an unexpected way. Lost keys are often seen as a minor inconvenience, but in reality they can create serious operational, security and compliance risks. The challenge was to communicate that message in a way that would stand out from traditional product marketing and capture attention from busy decision-makers.
Our response was Confession of a Lost Key — a short, Netflix-inspired noir film told from the perspective of Key 47, a missing key recounting its journey through forgotten drawers, unattended desks and unsecured locations before finally finding a safer home.

Rather than leading with product features, we focused on storytelling. By turning Key 47 into the narrator, we created a character audiences could follow, allowing us to explore the consequences of poor key management through humour, intrigue and a touch of drama.
The film combined live-action product footage with AI-assisted creative production. Using tools including Google Veo, Google Nano Banana and Kling, we developed cinematic scenes and character moments that would have been difficult to achieve through traditional production methods alone. The result was a distinctive visual style that felt more like a documentary trailer than a typical B2B marketing video.
The finished film takes viewers on a journey, revealing how easily keys can be misplaced and the risks that come with losing control of critical assets. As the story unfolds, Traka’s intelligent key management system emerges as the solution, providing visibility, accountability and complete control over every key.
By blending entertainment with education, the video transformed a complex operational challenge into a memorable story. It demonstrated how every key can be individually tracked, signed out and monitored, helping organisations reduce risk without relying on manual processes.
Confession of a Lost Key gave Traka a campaign asset that stood apart from conventional product marketing. Instead of simply telling audiences what the system does, it showed them why it matters through a narrative designed to spark curiosity and conversation.
The project also demonstrated how emerging creative technologies can be combined with strong storytelling to produce engaging content efficiently. Most importantly, it helped position Traka as an innovative brand solving real-world security challenges in a way that audiences are far more likely to remember.
