A leading UK hospitality business delivering food and hospitality services across workplaces, education and cultural destinations. Known for putting people at the centre of its culture, with a strong focus on wellbeing, inclusion and creating supportive environments for colleagues at every stage of their career.

BaxterStorey already delivered menopause training internally, but wanted to take it further. The aim was to introduce a clear creative concept and a more considered design approach that brought all materials together. The goal was to make the training as impactful, accessible and engaging as possible, while handling a sensitive topic with care and respect.
Beyond delivering information, the programme needed to help normalise conversations around menopause, build confidence among colleagues, and reinforce BaxterStorey’s wider commitment to inclusion and wellbeing.
All materials needed to be ready for World Menopause Day 2025.
Before any creative work began, the 63 team attended the existing menopause training to fully understand the content, tone and delivery. This gave us the context needed to ask the right questions and identify where design and storytelling could add clarity and confidence without changing the substance. From there, we developed a series of creative concept routes, each aligned with the BaxterStorey feel, but flexible enough to give the menopause programme its own identity.
Throughout the process, we worked closely with teams across Learning & Development, ED&I and the internal training specialists. Regular check-ins and reviews ensured language, illustration and animation choices were inclusive, accessible and appropriate for a wide internal audience. Creative and content decisions were reviewed throughout by internal specialists, ensuring the final materials reflected lived experience, medical accuracy and best practice in inclusive learning.

The final suite included:
Delivery was phased to support live training sessions, with decks completed first, followed by animation and physical materials ready for in-person workshops. The result was a more joined-up, confident training experience. One that felt considered, supportive and easy to engage with, while staying true to BaxterStorey’s culture and values.
