On stage. On show. On point.

How we helped Metapack produce a major international conference.

THE CHALLENGE.

MAKE AN ANNUAL EVENT BIGGER, BOLDER AND BETTER.

For our longstanding client Metapack, organising and hosting The Delivery Conference (TDC) is an annual highlight, bringing together leading figures from across the international shipping and delivery sector. For its first fully in-person event post-Covid in 2023, the company asked us to develop ideas and work with its other suppliers to give delegates an occasion to remember.

OUR APPROACH.

MAKE IT RELEVANT AND RELATABLE.

As for many software companies, Metapack’s challenge - especially in a large open forum - is to make its products relevant and relatable on a human level; and for our creative team, video is the ideal medium. We’ve been producing Metapack’s social media video content for years, so the company trusted us to do the same for TDC, thus sought our advice at the outset.

We developed and produced a series of videos, including intro and outro films, plus title slides for each of the 20 conference sessions and animated graphics to bring the event’s highly technical content to life. We also shot video and still photography during the event to capture the atmosphere and interactions between more than 800 delegates representing over 500 companies and brands.

THE OUTCOME.

DELIVERED TOGETHER.

We collaborated closely with Metapack’s brand agency to ensure our video and graphics were perfectly aligned with the corporate identity and values; we also worked hand-in-glove with the event company, including editing videos on-site to optimise them for the AV equipment. We and the client are already planning for and looking forward to our next TDC.

NEXT PROJECT
IN THE CLIENT'S OWN WORDS...

As part of our ‘Have you got a minute?’ sessions, we asked Yolanda at Metapack (part of the Auctane Group) what she thought about us and, despite some slight audio issues with her mic, it’s a great watch.

Say hi.
